Rev. Eunju Nam

Rev. Eunju Nam is a minister of the Manhattan Won Buddhist temple and an Associate Representative of Won Buddhism to the United Nations. Rev. Nam started her monastic training in 2003. She graduated from Won Kwang University, Iksan, Korea, majoring in Won Buddhism, and earned her M.A. in Won Buddhist Studies at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA.

Ordained as a Won Buddhist minister in December 2012, she began her minister's life at the Won Dharma Retreat Center in Claverack, NY. While in Claverack, Rev. Eunju helped administer many retreats. She witnessed how Dharma teaching can help people in contemporary society calm their distracted mind and restore their inner peace. She loves to see practitioners progress their wisdom through Meditation, and their application of the Dharma in daily life.
